With more than 20 years experience in dentistry and 19 years practicing as a dental hygienist in both British Columbia and Ontario, Dezarae Aldridge began her journey into independent dental hygiene ownership in early 2017. She created a storefront dental hygiene clinic, "Dental Hygiene with Dezarae" in Huntsville, Ontario where she and her team have welcomed over a 1000 clients into their hygiene family.  She also sits on the board of directors with the ODHA, representing region B and advocating for the future direction of our profession. Dezarae has won several local business awards including readers choice awards for favourite dental hygienist and best dental services. She enjoys learning how she can provide the best innovative services to her clients, including myofunctional therapy, laser and ozone services and is trained as a stop thumb sucking professional and a buteyko breathing instructor through Patrick Mckeown. Dezarae is also a mother of 2 boys and when she's not practicing dental hygiene you can often find her inside an area watching her youngest play hockey.  Dezarae enjoys her time at the gym lifting weights, time in nature hiking in beautiful Muskoka, being close to or on the water and creating through photography, sewing and crocheting.  Her next goal is to help fellow dental hygienists navigate the steps to becoming a successful dental hygiene practice owner.
