Michael Carabash, B.A., LL.B, J.D, M.B.A, C.D.P.M. is a dental lawyer and founding partner in Toronto law firm, DMC LLP. He focusses almost exclusively on helping dentists prepare, market and sell their dental practices. He also assists with incorporations, lease negotiations, and employment matters. Since 2015, he's also helped to recruit dental and hygiene volunteers, raise funds and organize various large dental and hygiene outreach programs in the Caribbean. He enjoys assisting and registering patients who attend the big 20 op temporary make-shift clinics. This past August 2025, for example, his law firm sponsored Fanshawe dental hygiene school to go to the island of Grenada in the Caribbean to provide free sealants and apply fluoride for hundreds of kids. This was the second year of the "Seal Grenada" program that was put together with the help of Dr. Sanjukta Mohanta (private dentist in Mississauga, board member of Sandals Foundation Canada) and Bev Woods (RDH, Gift from the Heart and Great Shape! Inc.) and Kelly Turner (RDH, former hygiene instructor with Fanshawe and now with CDHA) and Shelley Getty (RDH, hygiene instructor with Fanshawe) and they're aiming to go again next August 2026. Michael writes extensively and presents regularly on legal and business topics related to dental matters for Oral Health magazine, on his website www.DentistLawyers.ca and on his Instagram account "@michael_carabash" (where he used to dance to raise awareness for his various dental and hygiene outreach programs).
